Bahrain regrets Philippines' terror bombing
(MENAFN) Bahrain voiced deep condemnation to the bombing which struck Cotabato, a city in the Philippines, on New Year's Eve.
In a shopping mall entrance in Cotabato City, an improvised explosive device (IED) blasted, leaving two dead and over thirty injuries.
A statement stressed: "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain expresses its deep condolences to the families of the victims and wishes those injured a speedy recovery."
The statement also extended Bahrain's support to the Philippines, highlighting its strong stance against all forms of terrorism.
