(MENAFN) U.S President Donald Trump's previous lawyer Michael Cohen, who one stated he'd die for him, has criticized his ex-boss' "dirty deeds" as he was handed a 36-month jail sentence.
Cohen is the first member of Mr Trump's inner round to be imprisoned over the special counsel's probe into alleged Russian interfering in the 2016 election.
He confessed to be untruthful to Congress, campaign finance breaches and tax evasion.
In a New York court Cohen, aged 52, has claimed Mr Trump the responsibility behind his offences.
