Qatar- QIB relocates its branch within Al Jazeera Media network

Doha: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has relocated its branch within Al Jazeera Media Network to a more spacious location. The branch, conveniently located at the Al Jazeera Support Services Building, allows the Bank to serve the multitudes of individuals who work for Al Jazeera Media Network. The opening ceremony was attended by senior members from Aljazeera Network and QIB.

The Branch working hours will be from Sunday to Thursday, from 7.30am till 1.pm. Customers will be able to open bank accounts, apply for financing and credit cards, and consult on all Islamic banking products and services with the specialized and experienced QIB staff. The branch will incorporate an ATM/CDM machine that can be used for withdrawing and depositing money.

Commenting on the relocation of the branch QIB's General Manager — Personal Banking Group, D. Anand stated: 'The relocation of Al Jazeera media network branch will allow QIB to serve the different sectors and employees within the media network in a comprehensive manner keeping in mind the wide space that the branch enjoys. We consider the new location to be a valued addition to our branch network and a milestone for the branch itself which started operating in 2008.

D Anand concluded: 'We are very happy to serve Al-Jazeera media network and its employees and proud of this long-term partnership. Hamad M Al Dosari, Director of finance at Aljazeera Media Network commented: 'The new branch within Aljazeera's network offers convenience and timely service to Aljazeera employees who banks with QIB. In keeping with QIB's vision of offering its customers a smooth banking experience, the new branch holds a designed with customer convenience in mind. The open-plan layout enhanced with QIB's latest branch design that is currently implemented across all key branches.

The new design's philosophy molds together a palette of natural tones for a modern interpretation of the traditional Islamic values of purity, simplicity, and transparency.
