Turkey voices skepticism over U.S. planned Syrians training

(MENAFN) Turkey is questioning a decision the United States made to provide training to about 40,000 people in northeastern Syria.

The plan was rejected by ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party spokesman Omer Celik while addressing press.

The AK party spokesman raised alarm over the U.S. plan, which was reported to be offering 35,000 to 40,000 local forces in northeastern Syria training.

The spokesman stressed to reporters in Ankara that "we do not see them as well-intentioned approaches."
