Kuwait- 'Damaged graves to be repaired immediately'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: Director of Kuwait Municipality in charge of burial sites Dr Faisal Al-Awadhi affirmed that the graves in Sulaibikhat Cemetery that were damaged because of the torrential rains witnessed in the country recently will be repaired immediately, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a press statement, Dr Al-Awadhi stressed the keenness of Kuwait Municipality, via its concerned department, to preserve all the graves. He indicated that the heavy downpour led to damages to several graves in various cemeteries in the country.



Dr Al-Awadhi affirmed that the concerned department immediately embarked on listing the damaged graves and initiating the repair process through its personnel. He said the municipality is working to its full capacity along with other public agencies to preserve the public and private interests, and ensure the safety of the public amid the weather conditions currently experienced in the country
