Turkey, Qatar see closer ties in various levels
(MENAFN) Turkey witnessed throughout the year stronger ties with Qatar at various areas, including economy, politics and military.
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was planned to hold talks with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The two leaders carried out the meeting in Turkey, aiming to address matters including "regional and bilateral ties."
It comes after the Qatari emit paid a trip to Turkey in August, when he vowed to allocate USD15 billion in Turkey amid a currency crisis.
The Emir stressed: "we stand by the brothers in Turkey that have stood with the issues of the Muslim world and with Qatar."
