(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Minister of Public Health Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari, met yesterday with a number of delegates to World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) 2018 held at Qatar National Convention Center.
In this context, the minister met separately with the Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister of Nepal Upendra Yadav, the Minister of Health of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr Ghazi Manwar al-Zubin, Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Torosyan, Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan Oktay Shiraliyev, and the Minister of Health of the Republic of Paraguay.
During the meetings, the issues and topics raised at the WISH 2018 conference were discussed, as well as the promotion of co-operation in the health fields between the State of Qatar and their countries.
Dr al-Kuwari also met with Regional Director of Africa to WHO Dr Matshidiso Moeti, and with a number of senior participants in the conference, during which the main issues presented at the conference and a number of topics of common interest were reviewed.
Dr al-Kuwari also met with Minister of Health of the Republic of Sudan Mohamed Abu Zaid Mustafa, during which they discussed enhancing co-operation in the health fields between the two countries, in addition to the main topics of the WISH conference. A clinical counsellor consultant in mental health and founder of Whispers of Serenity Clinic in the Sultanate of Oman Basma al-Said also met the minister.
