Bahrain eyes closer ties with Kuwait


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, Nov 13 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman said on Tuesday his country is interested in promoting the vistas of fraternal cooperation with Kuwait.
Speaking during a meeting with Kuwaiti Ambassador in Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah, the Bahraini prime minister said cooperation between both nations is based on a solid foundation, understanding, coordination, amity and fraternity, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
He spoke highly of Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations as "firm" and continuously developing in all fields.
He stressed that Bahrain is interested in the development of brotherly deep-rooted relations between both Gulf countries.
On his part, Kuwaiti Ambassador in Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah boasted that Kuwaiti-Bahraini bonds have become an example to follow. (end) hmd.mt
