Jeddah, Rabi'I 03, 1440, November 11, 2018, SPA -- King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) has awarded new contracts worth more than SR 1.2 billion riyals for the construction and development of several sectors in the city during the year 2018.
The KAEC Acting Chief Executive Officer Ahmed bin Ibrahim Linjawy pointed out that the contracts included the development of the industrial valley, residential areas and facilities, the development of the experience of customers of investors, employees and visitors through the establishment and development of a range of projects, services and products in a number of areas, notably the tourism sector, entertainment and global sports.
Linjawy noted that the industrial valley has attracted more than 110 national and international companies so far, and the capacity of King Abdullah Port has reached 3.4 million containers annually.
