Iraqi forces raids 40 Daesh positions
(MENAFN) A local police officer declared that Iraqi forces have targeted 40 positions of the Daesh terrorist outfit in the eastern Diyala province.
Police Captain Habib al-Shimari confirmed: "Joint forces from the army, police and Hashd al-Shaabi militia launched a widespread military operation over the past days in eastern Diyala."
He added that two militants have died as well amid the security raid.
