Oman- Himachal Wing hosts second annual open swimming competition

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Himachal Wing, under the aegis of the Indian Social Club, Oman recently held its second annual open swimming competition at The Royal Hospital Sports Complex swimming pool.

The swimming competition was open to all nationalities and saw good participation. The events were for boys and girls in the age category of under 9 years up to under 14 years. Around 130 swimmers participated in nearly 90 events across different distances covering freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke. The event was witnessed by an audience of more than 300 people.Himachal Wing meticulously planned and executed the showcase event.

The event was very well appreciated by the participants, parents, audience, swimming club coaches and others present. The event had the support of sponsors like Green Concept Trading & Contracting, Abeer Hospital, Al Hashar Pharmacy, Mechanical and Technical Solutions, Cambridge Weight Plan, Al Layan water, Jotun Paints and WWICS.
