I have frequently heard from my compatriots that those who know Baku, get in love with this city and do not want to leave it. I was not exclusion as well.
The remark was made by Deputy Director General of Trend News Agency Lina Vaytkyavichene.
'First I came to Baku nine years ago and beauty of the city, kindness and hospitality of the Azerbaijani people really impressed me. Living in one of beautiful it is of world – Baku, I notice how the country, but not only Baku, is becoming beautiful,' she added.
She noted that Azerbaijan has passed long path since gaining its independence and the nation has achievements to be proud of. This is country where East meets West, different cultures exist and where representatives from different religions live friendly and where they meet guests with great joy.
'Tracing back the development of Azerbaijan, I clearly distinguish great merits of its leaders, who think of their motherland and people, and their future. I see scaly construction, numerous new roads, factories, parks, repaired schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and I realize that Azerbaijani people has great future,' Vaytkyavichene added.
She underlined that women led by First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva plays great role in its formation.
'I observe the activities of First Lady with admiration. Her beauty, femininity, charisma, and human cordiality are delighting. Sense of style, distinguished taste makes her an example for many women.
I would quote Fashion historian Alexander Vasilyev as saying in Baku, 'Mehriban Aliyeva is a real icon of style',' she added.
Indeed, for many women Mehriban Aliyeva is a model, as they imitate, admire, and try to resemble her, Vaytkyavichene said. It is more pleasing that people love her, are proud of having such First Lady, and give high praise to her.
'Being a fragile and delicate lady, she could carry out such large-scale projects, which is beyond the capacity of many men. Musical and sports events held in the country at the higher level, as well as Mehriban Aliyeva's fruitful activity in terms of maintaining the world heritage can be the best examples. All that became possible thanks to organizer talent of Mehriban Aliyeva,' she added.
It is no wonder that Mehriban Aliyeva could win endless love and confidence of people.
'As a person from a small country I am very much impressed by Mehriban Aliyeva's aspiration to make the country famous worldwide. I am observing with great interest the presentation of the country's opportunities on the international arena within the framework of preparations for holding World EXPO 2025, for which Baku is bidding. Azerbaijan is presented on the higher level with direct participation of Mehriban Aliyeva, and it is very important for promoting the country's image and economy through such significant events as World EXPO. Such steps more and more strengthen confidence in the future of Azerbaijan,' she added.
Mehriban Aliyeva is not indifferent towards troubles of people in need of special care, and it's no wonder that she could earn love of the Azerbaijani people. Mehriban Aliyeva's overall activity demonstrates her love to motherland, care of his people in general and each individual, noted Vaytkyavichene.
'I think, thanks to Mehriban Aliyeva, the world will continue getting surprised at achievements of Azerbaijan, large-scale projects, realized for the sake of Azerbaijan and for its prosperity, and uncovering uniqueness of the Azerbaijani people,' Vaytkyavichene said.
