World DRL Championship 2018 Concludes in KSA 2 Jeddah

At the end of the championship, the CEO of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SFCPD) Dr. Nouf Al-Rakan crowned the first place category winners with their prizes, in the presence of Nicholas Horbaczewski CEO & Founder of the Drone Racing League (DRL).
On the occasion, Dr. Al-Rakan expressed her happiness about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's success in organizing this event, which reflects its ability to host international events in various fields.
She also confirmed that the race has the direct support of the Advisor at the Royal Court and Chairman of Board of Directors of SFCPD Saud Al-Qahtani, and his belief that the citizens of this country have the ability to innovate and excellence whenever they have the opportunity and that the Federation will do its best to benefit from the energies of young people and enable them to achieve the desired progress and prosperity of this dear country.
The final race of World DRL Championship, of which the 7th stage hosted by the Kingdom, saw the participation of 10 of the most famous racers in the World Drones Racing League Championship, led by the US champion Jordan 'Jet' Tempkin who won the championship title twice in 2016 and 2017.
The Kingdom's hosting of this exceptional event is an opportunity to attract citizens to a new type of sport and to provide a suitable environment for young people of all ages who can innovate and excel in the fields of sport and technology alike.
