Oman- Bahraini media delegation visits sultanate


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Ahmed Mohammed al Mannai, director general of Bahrain News Agency (BNA) visited media institutions in the sultanate.

Mannai visited the Public Authority of Radio and Television (PART), Oman Establishment for Press, Publication and Advertising (OEPPA) and the Oman News Agency.

Mannai and his accompanying delegation met Nasser bin Sulaiman al Sibani, deputy chairman of PART. Then, they visited OEPPA where they met Saif bin Saud al Mahrouqi, acting CEO of OEPPA, editor-in-chief of Arabic daily Oman.

They also visited ONA and met Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak al Araimi, ONA director general and editor-in-chief.

The visits were aimed at enhancing cooperation between BNA and these institutions in the fields of exchanging news, photos and training.
The delegation also viewed work progress in these institutions and was familiarised with developing media works and means of upgrading the systems.
