Pakistan unveils date for presidential election
(MENAFN) Pakistan was revealed on Thursday to have set September 4th as the date for its presidential elections, not two months following its general elections.
The Pakistani Election Commission declared nominations for the presidential candidacy are to be accepted until August 27th.
The election commission also confirmed the final list of presidential candidates to be announced on August 30th.
The voting was also said to be scheduled to begin on September 4th in the National Assembly building in Islamabad and all four provincial assemblies buildings 0500-1100GMT.
