Turkish Airlines seeks 1,000 new pilots: deputy CEO


(MENAFN) Turkish Airlines was unveiled by deputy CEO in charge of human resources Abdulkerim Cay to be targeting the recruitment of 1,000 pilots.

Speaking to reporters in the capital Istanbul, the deputy CEO declared "now, our target is 1,000 pilots to meet our needs."

The capacity is to see a boost as soon as the new Istanbul airport becomes operational, deputy CEO Cay noted.

The carrier issued a statement, saying that people under the age of 35 and own at least an associate's degree are able to apply for the pilot academy.
