Turkey inaugurates hospital in occupied Afrin

(MENAFN) Turkey was confirmed to have opened the doors of a new hospital in Afrin region, located in the town of Jinderes in Syria, on April 21.

Daily Sabah reported the hospital to be providing emergency care along with pediatric and internal medicine, as it presents 400 beds for patients.

The newspaper further reported Turkish armed troops to have established a bakery in Jinderes, producing thousands of bread loaves per day.

It comes as Turkey occupied Afrin in January, taking over the commune from Kurdish rebels and opposing its NATO allies.
