(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Tawar Mall, Qatar's latest retail destination located at Al Duhail area, officially opened on Thursday, offering a unique shopping experience to both residents and visitors.

Dubbed as one of the country's largest malls, Tawar Mall will feature an array of new concepts, a number of flagship stores and never-before-seen attractions in Qatar.

He stressed that the event marked a remarkable moment for him and his family as they opened 'what was my father's dream and vision, and honoured his expectations".
'This mall brings a new philosophy to the country and goes far beyond the regular shopping experience, al-Kuwari said.
Considered as one of the most iconic malls in the region, Tawar Mall features a diverse mix of more than 300 stores (local and international brands) and a collection of luxury retailers unsurpassed in the region.
Tawar Mall hosts a large retail selection of fashion, sports, gadgets and department stores, as well as a huge family entertainment area.
Spar Hypermarket also opened its flagship and largest store in Qatar at the mall, offering a wide array of food and non-food items.
Mall-goers, especially families and children, will enjoy playing at Bounce, a free jumping revolution play area for all ages. It will be the largest trampoline park in the Middle East.
Tawar Mall is the first shopping destination to offer a smart mobile application that will guide customers as they park, shop and roam around the mall. It will be open from 10am to 10pm from Saturday to Wednesday, and 10am to 12am on Thursday and Friday.
The mall is also the first-of-its-kind to offer customers with three dining areas: grand food court, fine dining area and a contemporary dining area. One of the newest concepts Tawar Mall brings to the region is the Rooftop Cafes & Lounges, which offers customers a relaxing and soothing experience 'on the top floor right under the sky".
Designed with the highest international standards, the mall features the largest outdoor LED set up in the region with a pixel pitch of eight, offering an ultimate resolution.
Visitors will also find the mall's well-lighted wide corridors, panoramic restaurant, outdoor musical water fountain, indoor fountain, and a 122-room boutique hotel worth visiting.
The dancing musical fountain serves as 'an artistic visual treat to visitors, featuring synchronised water and playback to various themes.
Another first in Qatar, the mall hosts an indoor traditional souq on its premises, described as a 'a beautiful fusion of primeval and modern-day Qatari civilisation".
'This modern yet traditional concept engages the guest to indulge in its vintage ambiance and makes them feel nostalgic. It will highlight local traditions through a varied range of small shops built to showcase a real souq, senior mall officials said in a statement.
Some of the brands present include Sports Corner, which launched its first sports interactive store in the Middle East at Tawar Mall, and Caracole, which showcases a niche collection of furniture.
Tawar Mall is located between West Bay (Financial Area) and Al Garrafa, opposite Dahl Al Hamam Park.
