3,231 complaints over Dubai Metro
(MENAFN) With as many as 550,000 passengers opting to use the metro per day, the metro system in Dubai has become an integral part in rail users' lives.
Joining the 79 trains that currently serve the red and green lines, the new 50 trains will be part of the Dubai Metro fleet, 35 of which will serve the existing lines, while 15 will operate on Route 2020.
Although Dubai Metro has become one of the best transportation choices, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have received 3, 231 complaints over it.
Mohamed Al Mudhrab, RTA director, explained that the top four complaints about Dubai's metro included; more inspectors needed during peak hours, passengers' lack of etiquette, lack of prayer rooms in metro stations and the lack of access gates.
