New Jordanian ambassador presents credentials to President Erdogan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 17 (Petra)-Jordan's new ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, Ismael Refa'i, presented his credentials to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the White Palace in Ankara.

During the credentialing ceremony, Refa'i conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah's greetings to President Erdogan, and wished him and the Turkish people further prosperity and progress, according to a foreign ministry statement put out on Wednesday.

The Turkish leader, for his part, lauded the "longstanding" bilateral relations, and the friendly bonds between peoples of Turkey and Jordan as well, added the statement.

He also voiced keenness to further foster Amman-Ankara cooperation relations at all levels, with eye to the political and economic domains.
