Doha: The Ministry of Interior has recently added two new links on its website for queries regarding entry visas to Qatar.
The new links makes it very easy to find out what are the entry requirements depending on your nationality and country of residence.
The user needs to choose the nationality and the country of residence and click search and it will show you the kind of visa required to enter Qatar and also the requirements for obtaining the same.

In August Qatar had eased its visa policies allowing citizens of 81 countries visa-free entry. Qatar has now the highest in the region in terms of number of nationalities eligible to enter visa-free, making it the most open country in the region.
Citizens of those 81 countries wishing to visit Qatar will no longer need to apply or pay for a visa; instead, a multi-entry waiver will be issued free-of-charge at the port of entry, upon presentation of a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months and a confirmed onward or return ticket.
