Birla Public School won coveted places at the CBSE Qatar Cluster Tennis Competitions held on October 21 at Al Khor International School. In Girls category, the BPS Girls Team emerged as overall champions. They won Gold in under 17 Girls Category, team members were Vaidehi Pujary of class 10, Anandita Sanjai class 10, Anjana Gupta Bolli Shetty of class 7. In under 19 Girls category, BPS won Silver and the team members were Drashti Kansara of class 7, Sincy Sherin of class 7 Sarrinah of class 7 and Gayatri Praneeta of class 7.
In Boys under 19 category, BPS won gold and the team members were Siddharth Ramesh of class 12, Athrey Ananth of class 9, Dominic Antony of Class 8 and Deep Vikram Liya of class 11. In under 17 category, they won Bronze, the team members were Arnold David Patrao of class 7, Jayden Jeason Jacon , Siddharth Dinesh Kumar and G Joshua Jonathan class 9. Boys under 19 and Girls Under 17 are qualified to participate at the CBSE National Tennis Competitions to be held at Tamil Nadu from November 6 to 11.
