18 workers were let go from Snap
(MENAFN) Snap Inc declared letting go 18 employees in the recruiting division, which is a strange thing for the small company to do.
The head company of Snapchat app refused to comment other than confirming the jobs cuts.
According to Business Insider, CEO of Snap emailed the staff in September that the company will employ at a "slower rate" next year, and that supervisors will be demanded to make "hard decisions" about workers who are not doing good.
Investors' fears that Snap may never be profitable, have increased ever since the company's 3.6b USD IPO 7 months ago.
