Why is a US rocket taking Dubai's Alia's experiment to space today?
The Dubai girl Alia is sending an experiment to the International Space Station on board the Falcon-9 rocket, said a WESH report on August 11.
She got an opportunity to be part of the experiment when she won a competition sponsored by Boeing and Mini-PCR. The competition's goal is to inspire young people."It'll be amazing. I've heard a lot about watching rockets launch; about how you can feel the rumble and everything, so I'm very excited," Almansoori was quoted as saying in the report.
