Russian ctr says aid convoy given access to E. Ghouta


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, July 25 (KUNA) -- A humanitarian aid convoy Tuesday entered Eastern Al-Ghouta in Damascus countryside, which is included in the de-escalation zone agreement, a Russian Coordination Center said.

"A humanitarian aid convoy, loaded with 10 tons of materials of medicines and food, entered eastern Al-Ghouta in Damascus countryside," the Hmeimim-based center was quoted by Syria's official news agency, SANA, as saying in a statement on Tuesday.

The general command of the army and armed forces announced a cessation of hostilities in a number of towns in Eastern Al-Ghouta as of 12.00 p.m. Saturday (July 22nd). (end) tk.mt
