Oman- NBO honoured with 'Best Customer Relationship Manager Project' award

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- National Bank of Oman (NBO) has been recognised for its customer relationship management at the prestigious Asian Banker Technology Innovation Awards 2017. NBO collected the award for 'Best CRM Project' on behalf of the bank at a presentation ceremony in Dubai, UAE.

The accolade was awarded to NBO for its implementation of CRMnext across all its branches and offices. The digital software was introduced in 2015, and creates a single enabling system to manage the entire customer experience and power the bank's end-to-end lead management across all business lines and channels, increasing sales conversions and reducing sales cycles.

The Asian Banker Technology Innovation Awards is a programme designed to recognise annual achievement as well as identify emerging best practice in the implementation of technology in banking operations. The programme is run on a completely neutral basis over a period of three to four months, involving a team of researchers assessing financial institutions in the Middle East and North Africa.

NBO is committed to strengthening its service platforms by offering innovative solutions that enhance customers' experience. The bank recently announced the successful completion of the first pilot international remittance transfer in the sultanate using blockchain technology, and also hosted the country's biggest 'Hackathon' platform.
