Customs Services Foil Attempt to Smuggle MAD 280,000 Into Morocco

(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Customs services succeeded in thwarting an attempt to smuggle 280,000 dirham into Morocco (in Bab Sebta North of Morocco), a customs source said on Wednesday.

During a routine control operation at Bab Sebta checkpoint, customs services members seized the money that was concealed in the pants of the suspect, who was attempting to smuggle it without a prior authorization from the competent financial institutions.

The suspect was thoroughly investigated before taking the administrative measures in force in such cases, the same source added.
