Tunisia- Essebsi Accepts Resignation of Interim Cabinet
(MENAFN- QNA) Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi accepted the resignation of interim Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa's cabinet, which he tendered on Monday.
Essebsi entrusted Jomaa with the management of current affairs until the new government takes over, in compliance with the provisions of the constitution, a Tunisian presidency statement carried by the official news agency TAP said.
Jomaa's resignation comes after Friday's announcement of the line-up of the new cabinet, which will be led by Habib Essid.
