Third Omani film, Souq al Dhulam releases today

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The third Omani feature film Souq al Dhulam will release on Thursday at City Cinema Sur and Salalah.

The fim centres around the model of Sultana the first Omani ship to sail to the US.

'With this film we are attempting to discover a new type of drama as most of the tele-dramas shown in Oman today are often based inside the house and mostly deal with family problems' said Mohammed Redha al Lawati the story writer of the film. The film's cast includes both Omanis and Indians.

Technicians from Egypt were also roped in for the film.

Produced by Ammar al Ibrahim the film is directed by John Ikram and it will be screened till December 10 at 7.30pm.
