Japan Landslides Death Toll Hits 66
A week after huge landslides swamped the Japanese city of Hiroshima, death toll from the tragedy hit 66 on Wednesday, with dozens of people still missing.
Rescuers, including policemen and fire fighters are continuing search and rescue operations, according to Japan's news agency (Kyodo).
Some 1600 people are still in temporary shelters, a week after the heavy rains which caused the landslides.
On Monday, Japan's Premier Shinzo Abe pledged providing full support for the victims of the disaster, stressing his government's determination to overcoming the crisis.
