(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Iranian President Dr. Hasan Rowhani, met here on Wednesday HE Qatar's Advisory Council Speaker Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the 9th meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) parliamentary union of member states, currently underway in Tehran. At the outset of the meeting, HE Al Khulaifi conveyed to President Rowhani greetings of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and HH best wishes for more progress and prosperity to the Islamic Republic of Iran. President Rowhani in turn assigned HE the Qatari Advisory Council Speaker to convey his greetings and felicitations to HH the Emir of Qatar wishing further progress and development to the State of Qatar. Talks during the meeting dealt with means of bolstering bilateral relations especially in the parliamentary domain. Qatar's ambassador to Iran HE Ali Bin Ahmed As-Sulaiti attended the meeting. Earlier today, HE Al Khulaifi met with Iranian Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani on the sidelines of the 9th meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's parliamentary union of member states, currently underway in Tehran.
