Kuwaiti Athletes win 5 medals

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwaiti athletics team has bagged five medals during the Sixth Asian Indoor Athletics Championship that concluded in China late on Monday. Runner Ibrahim Rumaid won a silver medal in the 800-m race, bringing number of medals he has snatched to two gold, two silver and a single bronze. The Kuwaiti field-and-track team has won a total of five gold medals



The head of the Kuwaiti delegation and the secretary of the Kuwaiti Athletics Federation, Salem Al-Enezi, said in a statement to KUNA that this "achievement is granted to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as well as to the people of Kuwait
