Iran, Russia to expand trade ties
(MENAFN) Governor General of Iran's Gilan province has called for deeper trade ties with Russia"s Astrakhan provinces, according to Iran Daily
The announcement was revealed by Mohammad Ali Najafi in a meeting with Denis Afanasiev, minister of international and foreign economic relations of Astrakhan
The two parties stressed on the importance of expanding relations between Gilan and Astrakhan to improve Iran-Russia ties
Najafi said: "The province has potentials for promoting ties with Astrakhan in trade, services, agriculture, technology, medical tourism and shipbuilding sectors.
