Seminar by Oman's MoH talks about multiple sclerosis
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Saturday held a day-long seminar on multiple sclerosis at InterContinental Muscat. The seminar addressed various aspects of the disease and saw participation of 20 doctors and experts along with patients and their family members.
Multiple sclerosis affects the brain and spinal cord, causing problems with muscle movement, balance and vision.
Dr Merlyn from MoH said, ''Our aim is to raise awareness on such diseases.'' She added that the government is taking measures to motivate people to follow a healthy lifestyle.
