Saudi Petroleum Minister: Oil Market Stability Will Continue Through Next Year

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi highlighted the positive and important role played by the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) to maintain the stability of the international oil market and the stability of oil prices at levels appropriate for consuming and producing states and for the global economy and its growth especially the emerging and developing economies. Addressing the 91st meeting of the Council of Ministers of the OAPEC, held here today, Al Naimi expressed optimism about the future, noting that the stability of the oil market will continue through next year. The Saudi Minister added that the Arab and OPEC countries will continue to play their role positively, towards the goal of market balance and stability of prices.
