Volvo, Electrolux cut 4,000 jobs
(MENAFN) Swedish Volvo trucks and Electrolux said that it cut 4,000 job around the world, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
Volvo has around 112,000 employees around the world and 16,000 consultants and temporary workers.
Electrolux announced a cost-reduction program starting this quarter in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company said: "Approximately 2,000 employees are affected by these actions."
