Mexico: search continues for 7 missing miners

(MENAFN) Local authorities declared that Mexican rescue crews are still looking for the seven missing miners, after a mine incident in the northern state of Chihuahua.

The Chihuahua civil protection office confirmed that the seven employees have no trace since a dam repressing mineral waste collapsed.

Two wounded men were discovered by the emergency teams, and are receiving treatments in hospital in the state capital of Chihuahua.

The office added: "Since the accident was reported, the state coordinator, Luis Cuauhtemoc Guerra Chacon, has been mobilized on the ground to lead the efforts of various authorities,".
