By Rufiz Hafizoglu – Trend:

Turkish Armed Forces are changing their uniforms, Turkish media reported April 23 citing military sources.

Reportedly, the new military uniform is designed according to NATO standards and its difference is associated with low visibility for detection from satellites.

It is also reported that the new uniform was tested during the military operation "Olive branch" in Syria's city of Afrin.

The report also said that Special Forces of Turkey will also switch to new uniforms.

The new military uniform of the Turkish Armed Forces has been in development for three years. It is expected that by the end of July this year, the Turkish Armed Forces will fully switch to a new military uniform.
