Giroud, Morata put Chelsea in FA Cup final

Chelsea have set up the FA Cup final date with Jose Mourinho's Manchester United after beating Southampton 2-0 in the semi-final at the Wembley stadium in London.
Goals from Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata sealed the deal for the West London club.
Chelsea had lost the final last year and now they have another opportunity to redeem themselves on May 19.

The first half was mostly a dull affair completely dominated by the Blues.
Chelsea's best effort in the first half came in the 7th minute when they started a brilliant counter attack led by Eden Hazard.

Chelsea got down straight to business as the second half resumed.
Giroud scored a mind-blowing goal to put the Blues ahead at Wembley.
Hazard sent in a brilliant pass to the striker who dazzled past four defenders and then the keeper before poking it into the net to make it 1-0 for Chelsea in the 46th minute.

Alvaro Morata, who came in as a substitute for goal scorer Olivier Giroud, took only 86 seconds to make his impact felt at the Wembley.
This goal was crafted by one Spaniard and finished by another one.
Chelsea's Spanish defender César Azpilicueta sent in a sumptuous cross which was met by a leaping Morata to make it 2-0 for the Blues.

Chelsea last won the FA Cup back in 2012 when they beat Liverpool in the final.
Manchester United, on the other hand, won club football's oldest cup competition just two seasons ago beating Crystal Palace in the final.
United and Chelsea last met in the final in 2007 where Drogba's lone goal in extra time won the title for the West Londoners.
