(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) CHITRAL: The alarming trend of suicides in Chitral youth continues as another boy committed suicide in Karimabad area on Saturday.
Police said the youth, Javed committed suicide by shooting himself down. His body was handed over to his family after post-mortem. The cause of the suicide could not be ascertained.
According to police, it was 23rd incident of suicide in Chitral during the last seven months.
A centre has also been opened in Chitral to stop the trend of suicides by curbing violence against women and children. Local women have been appointed in the centre in order to make it easier for local people to lodge complaints with the said centre.
