Symposium on Role of Saudi Women in Development held in Geneva

Geneva, Jumada II 13, 1439, March 01, 2018, SPA -- A symposium titled "Saudi Women Role in Sustainable Development Goals and Kingdom Vision 2030" was held in Geneva on the sidelines of the meetings of the UN Women Commission to Confront Segregation Against Women.
The symposium's first session discussed ways of widely employing Saudi women in a number of fields, including social life, education, sports, and law while the second session dealt with economy, sustainable energy, Saudi NEOM project, music and arts.
In the two sessions, the role of Saudi women reached in all sectors as well as the support they receive from the leadership according to Kingdom's vision 2030 were discussed.
The symposium was attended by government officials in charge of human rights, ambassadors, representatives of officials accredited to the UN.
