Google is All Set to launch its First Android Oreo (Go Edition) at MWC 2018
In an interview last week Hiroshi Lockheimer, Senior Vice President, Platforms & ecosystems "Starting next week, you'll see the first set of Android Oreo (Go edition) phones, and soon after they'll be available for you to purchase," According to the reports some of the Android Oreo (Go Edition) phones will cost less than $50, due to the smaller amount of processing and storage power. Meanwhile, Google has plans to showcase the latest version of Google Assistant and Lens at the upcoming trade show.
As already mentioned, some new smartphones running on Android One will also be launched at the MWC. Nokia is one of the OEM manufacturers which is expected to launch Nokia 7 Plus by Android One while according to rumors, Nokia 1 is supposed to run on the tailored Android Oreo (Go Edition) version.
Meanwhile, Micromax has announced that Bharat Go will be the company's first Android Go smartphones, though a launch date is not fixed yet. Reliance Jio is also whispered to be functioning on an entry-level Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphones. Please note that the tailored edition on Reliance Jio and Micromax are expected to be launched at later date and not at MWC.
