Pakistan- Local female dancer gunned down in Mardan

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) MARDAN: A local dancer was gunned down on Saturday at her house in Sheikh Maltoon Town in Mardan after she refused to attend a function allegedly organised by the killers, the police said.

The police said that some armed persons entered the house of Sumbal and opened fire on her, leaving her dead on the spot.

Deceased grand father Mir Bahadur, while registering an FIR, nominated Jehangir, a resident of Peshawar, his accomplice Naeem Khattak and Naseeb Shah.

He said that Sumbal refused to attend a programme they had organized that infuriated them and on Saturday they forced their way in their his house and killed her.

Jehangir is said to be the same person who was nominated in murder of artiste Ghazala Javed and was later released on bail.
