Apple is demanded answers about slowing devices

(MENAFN) The Shanghai Consumer Council requested Apple to give for information about the slowing of older iPhones after operating system updates, demanding a reply before Friday.

The inquiry from the Chinese consumer group came in response to consumer feedback that old iPhones became slow after upgrading the software to iOS 10.2.1.

The council sent a letter to Apple, asking for justification for the slow-down and information about what the company planned to do to correct the problem.

The Shanghai Consumer Council said it had received 2,615 complaints about Apple products and services last year, compared with 964 complaints in 2015.
