Mumbai to host 7th Global Economic Summit, accelerating MSME growth on chart

New Delhi, Jan 8 (KNN) In a bid to facilitate global exposure for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), 7th Global Economic Summit is being organized in Mumbai on 22nd-24th of February.

The Summit is being organized by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India in association with World trade Centre, Mumbai and All India Association of Industries.

This year's edition is being organized under the theme 'Global Value Chains: Accelerating MSME Growth Development and Sustainability.

Key areas of the event include national and multilateral approaches for fostering Global Value Chains (GVC), adaption of new technologies, building MSME competitiveness and sustainability.

The summit further aims to explore the possible platforms for MSMEs to enhance their business and learns to equip them for export development.

Earlier the previous edition of the summit was themed as Innovation and Capacity Building among women entrepreneurs. Participants from over 20 countries attended the summit to discuss issues relevant for boosting social entrepreneurship and break obstacles for women entrepreneurs. (KNN/MG)
