Overseas Filipino worker shot dead during vacation

An overseas Filipino worker who returned home for a vacation has been found shot dead in Zamboanga City on Mindanao island.
Sadikal Apostol, 30, was checking his parked motorcycle when a gunman, who was riding a motorbike, called his name and shot him in the chest and face on Thursday, reported.

According to the police, the motive for the killing still remains unknown. They said the suspect was waiting for the victim and even called his name. Investigations continue.
