Kuwait- OIC Extraordinary summit kicks off with the attendance of HH the Amir
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) extraordinary summit kicked off on Wednesday in the city of Istanbul with the attendance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, heading the Kuwaiti delegation.
The summit is due to tackle consequences of US decision to recognize Jerusalem as "Israel" capital and the transfer of US capital to Jerusalem, including ways to move forward as a unified bloc and coordinate efforts in confronting such developments.
Earlier, an extraordinary session for OIC foreign ministers, with Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah attending the meeting. (end) rs.mb
