Afghanistan- Nangarhar airstrike kills 16 Daesh rebels
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two commanders were among 16 Daesh or Islamic State militants killed in an airstrike in the Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Saturday.
The airstrike was carried out last night in Momand Dara's Margha area and the dead militants included two commanders Asadullah Orakzai and Shakirullah Kunari, said the Nangarhar governor's spokesman.
Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News separately security forces arrested eight suspected militants with four motorcycles, remote-controlled landmines, two hand grenades and other ammunition.ma
