UAE- European woman killed, 5 injured in Sharjah road accidents
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A 24-year-old European woman died and five others, including an Emirati national, were injured during a collision involving three cars on Malaiha Road in Sharjah.
On receiving a call at the operation rooms about the crash, a police team - including traffic patrols - and an ambulance were immediately sent to the site. The woman's body was taken to the morgue, while the injured were rushed to the hospital.
In another accident, the Air Wing lifted a seriously injured GCC national after he was involved in a collision on Malaiha Road. The accident also caused injuries to three Asians who were rushed to Al Dhaid Hospital.A traffic police official said that both accidents happened due to speeding and lack of attention while driving.
