(MENAFN) Omani famous singer Salim Ali Said of Salalah has died after a long battle with cancer.
'The Omani Song Ambassador' as called by his fans, passed away in Thailand, report from Times of Oman said.
The singer had told media earlier this year that he was recovering well and would be returning to Oman soon.
